Featured Product: Durango Doors’ Millennium Line

At Silverton Custom Homes, we’re known for building luxurious custom homes with waterfront and hillside views. What’s the best way to take advantage of those views? With the best doors and windows, of course! That’s why we’re excited to share a little bit about Durango Doors’ Millennium Line of doors and windows. Get the full scoop below!

A family-owned and operated company, Durango Doors has specialized in custom steel doors and windows since 1999. They offer an array of services including manufacturing, design, and installation. Throughout the years, Durango Doors has earned a reputation for providing stellar products, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service. Their mission is to “enhance the design-build community by engineering thermally efficient products with cutting edge technology.”

The Millennium Line features stunning windows and doors for remodeled and custom-built homes. Designed to maximize the use of glass, each product uses heat resistant double-paned glass held in place by a steel frame. With a floor-to-ceiling design, these doors and windows make the most of scenic views while easily blending indoor and outdoor living.

Another reason we love these doors and windows? Durango products are made from energy-efficient materials. Durango’s Millennium Line uses double-paned glass to ensure they meet the requirements set forth by Austin Energy’s Green Building Program. In addition, Durango products use insulated steel. According to the Durango website, the “steel beams that constitute our jambs, stiles and rails are insulated to reduce the flow of thermal energy from outside to inside the home. Durango’s insulated doors and windows have been rated by a certified energy auditor and perform much better than a steel product without insulation or that is untested.”
